Edible Flowers

Garnish your cocktails and mocktails with edible flowers for your next event

You have seen them on wedding cakes, in ads for experimental cuisine and at 5 star restaurants, but edible flowers are actually easy to source and you can use them at home!

Edible flowers add the wow factor to any meal or beverage. They are a fun touch to include to create an experience for your guests at any event - dinner party, birthday, bridal shower mimosa bar, or even for a specialty cocktail when getting together with a small group of friends. We garnish our mocktails with crushed rose petals and edible flowers! Check out our latest mocktail menu here.

Which flowers are edible, you ask? Certainly not all of them! So be sure to purchase from a reputable source that is selling them as a food and beverage product. It’s important to know they have been grown, processed and handled as a food product. Never put flowers in food that were sold as cut-flowers, aka standard flowers from a florist, grocery store, etc. Cut-flowers are often placed in water with flower food, chemicals or even bleach to preserve them. There is nothing wrong with that as it helps preserve cut-flowers for you to enjoy longer - as long as you aren’t eating them.

Many grocery stores, such as some Whole Foods, offer fresh edible flowers in the salad section. You can also purchase fresh or freeze dried edible flowers from reputable online sources such as Freshly Preserved.
