What is a flower bar, anyway?
Also known as a stem bar, or bouquet bar, a flower bar is a station set up with buckets of fresh flowers so you can enjoy the creative experience of building a bouquet from scratch. They are rising in popularity as an activity for bridal showers, baby showers, and other parties. We can see why. It makes an excellent guest favor, it creates an activity for guests to enjoy during the party, and it adds to the party decor. We’ve also seen flower bars occasionally in gift shops, plant stores and other creative boutiques.
Make a Flower Bar
If you have an upcoming event you can make a flower bar from garden flowers, flowers bought at the grocery store or from a local flower farm. All you need is some fresh flowers, vases, shears for cutting flowers, rubber bands and decorative ribbons!
You can also provide cute signage with instructions on how many stems to choose so all the guests get the same size bouquets.
